The call sheet builds itself from your schedule
Your schedule already knows the scenes, the location and the cast for every shoot day. The call sheet takes them from there, so you never retype a scene number or a character name.
Move a scene to another day and the sheet follows. There is no second copy to keep in sync.
Cast pulled straight from the script
Tag a character in the breakdown and they are on the sheet for every day their scenes shoot, in cast-number order.
Parts you have not cast yet show as TBD, so the sheet can go out before the last actor is signed.
Cast and crew management, from contact list to call sheet
Every production has its own cast and crew list, and the call sheet is built from that list and nothing else.
Your contacts are kept once, with email, phone and the role they usually take. Put them on a production with a search, and a changed number reaches every sheet that lists them.
-
Every call time worked out for you
Enter the crew call once. Every scene gets its start time from the estimates on your schedule, and a lunch break or a company move shifts everything after it.
No spreadsheet math the night before the shoot.
-
One send. Everyone gets their own PDF.
Each person receives the call sheet with their own call time on it. They confirm with one tap, and they never need an account.
Delivered, opened, confirmed or bounced: you see it for every person, so you know where you stand before you leave for set.
-
Works on set, with or without signal
Changes save to your device first and sync when you are back online. Fix a call time in a basement location and it is saved.
The PDF is built on your device too, so you can export it with no connection and share it any way you like.
What's on the sheet
- The crew call, the date and your company logo
- Every location, with parking and the nearest hospital
- The weather for the day, with sunrise and sunset
- The day's scenes, each with its own start time
- Talent in cast-number order, with TBD for parts not cast yet
- Crew by department, with key crew at the top
- Clients and background
- A personal call time and a note for anyone who needs one
- Your regular crew, carried over from earlier shoot days
- A PDF that prints non-Latin names correctly
How it works
- 1
Lay out the days
Put your scenes on the schedule, day by day.
- 2
Set the crew call
Open the day. The location, the scenes and the cast are already on the sheet. Add parking, the nearest hospital and a note for the crew.
- 3
Send
Everyone gets a PDF with their own call time, and the confirmations come back to you. If the day changes, send again. Each send is kept, so you see who confirmed the latest version.
What Directors & Producers Say
Cinelog Saves Lives
"After using Cinelog on a recent commercial, our production team decided to implement it onto our feature film set. Every department was easily onboarded and being able to upload previs and our shots kept us moving."
Game Changer, don't Start Production Without it!
"I stumbled onto this app and gave it a shot, and it's completely changed how my team and I approach pre-production. Scripting, shot lists, storyboards, cast, crew, call sheets — it's all in one ecosystem, which makes team collaboration seamless and transitions us right into the production stage without missing a beat. It's clear this app was built for the film industry by people who actually work in it."
"Super useful for planning video shoots and getting everyone on the same page. I like that it can be clean and simple for smaller productions (like making a call sheet and basic shotlist), but has lots of customizability for bigger shoots too (in depth shotlist data, sending different crew members relevant info, storyboarding, etc)."
"As a commercial and film producer this app has helped my team tremendously in all our projects, either commercials or films, I can't recommend this app enough."
All in one production tool!
"I love how I have everything I need all in one place. I've been using this for all of my pre-production needs as I produce my first feature film and it's made my workflow way more efficient."
"Honestly, the best pre-production tool I’ve used so far. It’s clean, easy to use, and doesn’t overcomplicate things. I love that I can keep working on my phone even when I’m away from my PC, that flexibility is a game changer. Big thanks to the team for building something this practical and well thought out."
Incredible tool with a bright future
"CineLog is still fresh but most certainly off to the races. This tool does an incredible job of centralizing a chunk of your creative pre-production workflow items, and making them all work seamlessly with one another to help you spend less time complaining about tech and more time developing that film/commercial. Had to leave some room for improvement as the app is ever evolving and expanding with new ideas and feedback. The app creators have certainly done a fabulous job here so far and it's absolutely worth diving into for your next project."
Common questions
Can I change what the schedule put on the sheet?
Yes. Tap any block and change it in place. The PDF prints what you see.
What happens when the schedule changes?
The call sheet reads the schedule, so it updates. If the sheet already went out, send it again, and you see who confirmed the latest version.
Does my crew need an account?
No. They get an email with the PDF, and the confirmation link opens in a browser. If you want someone inside the project, to see the script or the shot list, invite them. They make a free account, and only the project owner pays.
Does it work on a phone on set?
Yes. The call sheet has a phone layout. You can change a call time or a location and export the PDF from your phone. It works without a connection and syncs when you are back online.
What does it cost?
The free plan includes one project with every tool, call sheets included. Filmmaker is $15 a month and Production Company is $40 a month. On every plan, the crew you invite does not pay for a seat.
