Getting people into your project should be frictionless. Typing out fifty names, emails, and phone numbers by hand is incredibly slow, especially when you already have them stored somewhere else.
What I usually like to do is keep a master spreadsheet of everyone I work with. So we added a bulk CSV import tool. You just upload your file, and CineLog automatically maps your columns to the workspace contact fields. It formats the data and pulls everyone in at once.
The next thing we updated is how you look at your schedule. We overhauled the Call Sheets screen into a new dynamic grid view. It lays out all your production days in order so you can see the whole week at a glance. If you have a day on the schedule but no call sheet yet, it shows up as a translucent ”+ Create” card. You tap it, and it instantly builds the call sheet to fill that gap. We also added a bulk deletion tool. You just hold down to select multiple call sheets and clear them out together.
For those of you running the app on set, we optimized the Call Sheet layouts for iPads and tablets. We fixed the visual overflow issues so it uses the extra screen space properly. We also added a name search bar right at the top of the Cast & Crew screen so you can find people instantly.
Finally, we cleaned up a few bugs. If you move or delete a banner in the shot list, the system now scans the list and reconnects your split scenes automatically. We also tightened up the network syncs so the app doesn’t send redundant data when you open and close a note without making changes.
