Your Questions, Answered

  • No. Collaborators you invite to your projects do not need to pay for a subscription. They can create a free account to access, view, or edit the projects you invite them to, depending on the permissions you grant them.

  • An active project is any project you are currently working on that is not archived. You can archive completed projects to free up your active project slots without losing your data. However, media files within archived projects still count toward your total account storage limit. Archived projects are view only.

  • CineLog features a robust Offline Mode built on a Local-First architecture. While you need an initial internet connection to log in and authenticate your account, once authenticated, you can use the app completely offline for a reasonable amount of time until session expires. You can write scripts, build shot lists, and organize your production without a connection. The moment you reconnect to the internet, CineLog will automatically sync all your changes with your team in the background.

  • Yes. When you upgrade, the prorated difference will be applied to your account immediately, unlocking your new limits. If you downgrade, your new lower rate will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Note that you may need to archive projects or free up storage before you can successfully downgrade to a lower tier.

  • We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data both in transit and at rest. Your scripts, call sheets, and contact lists are stored securely in the cloud. For ultimate control and isolation, our Enterprise tier offers dedicated databases and separate cloud infrastructure.
